A To-Do List for Navigating Cancer

Overview

It’s a scary moment when you or a loved one is diagnosed with cancer or you find yourself in a medical emergency. We’re hoping this event will give you some clarity on how to navigate the journey ahead when life may seem like it’s crumbling around you.

Chelsea invites you to join us for our September empowerment event with our inspiring friend, Stacey Peterson.

Stacey will be talking about how to deal with finding yourself through any sort of medical emergency, how to be an advocate for yourself, and will give some practical tips walking you and your loved ones through the process to make it less overwhelming.

September is National Ovarian Cancer Awareness Month and Stacey will share her personal story of being diagnosed with ovarian cancer. She is also the author of two books: “It Isn’t Ugly Forever – A To Do List for Fighting Cancer” and a children’s book “Jellybeans for Mom” that explains the treatment process to kids.

This event will be a combination of story telling and sharing tips to navigate this difficult journey. We would love to have you share in this inspiring event.
