Following the success of the Music Unwound program “Dvořák and America” in 2016, the SDSO will present the next in this series focusing on the relationship between Aaron Copland and the dynamic Mexican composer Silvestre Revueltas. This is a contextualized program developed by musicologist Joseph Horowitz which includes lecture/demonstration and visual elements, as well as a live performance of the original Revueltas score accompanying the film Redes.
