Come downtown to the Eastbank for the First Friday Block Party the first Friday of June, July and August! Enjoy live music, food vendors, beer & wine for purchase and shopping at some of the most unique stores in Sioux Falls. Picnic table seating will be provided, but feel free to bring your own lawn chair.
There will be two bands each evening. Between the bands, enjoy a Battle for the Arts competition!
Free hands on kids' activities will be offered.
Admission is Free.

6:00 Opener - June Embers: Hailing from Sioux Falls, SD, June Embers is a female-fronted post-hardcore-melodic-indie-art-rock band for fans of Foo Fighters, Paramore, Queens of the Stone Age, and Manchester Orchestra.
7:30 Battle for the Arts: June Battle Champion Ben Mercer vs. Dan Meyer
8:00 Headliner - Useful Jenkins: A high-spirited bluegrass band from Mankato, MN. Useful Jenkins’ socially relevant lyrics and funky instrumental arrangements introduce a modern edgy interpretation of bluegrass that defines their unique sound. Their signature homegrown vibe incorporates the styles of, Yonder Mountain, Led Zeppelin, and Trampled By Turtles. Their latest album, Festival Express, illustrates the band’s individual original expression of music inspired jamming around the campfire that is keeping audiences dancing.
