First Friday Happenings:

Downtown Block Party on the Eastbank:
On the First Friday of the month, June through September, DTSF treats you to the ultimate block party experience. These FREE events are located on the Eastbank of downtown Sioux Falls, which Thrillist recently named “1 of 12 up and coming neighborhoods across America.” Enjoy live music, food vendors, beer, wine, and shopping at some of the most unique stores along the boardwalk of the 8th & Railroad Center. Downtown Street Musicians:
Enjoy live music at some of your favorite restaurants and breweries, as well as the Riverfront Amphitheater on Friday and Saturday nights this summer with the Downtown Street Musicians! See the full schedule HERE.

Old Courthouse Museum:
Summer Plaza Concert Series - Enjoy FREE, live outdoor music outside of the Old Courthouse Museum from 12-1pm on Fridays during the months of June, July and August. See full schedule HERE. 200 West 6th Street

Animals on the Amphitheater:
An event the whole family will love – meet four live animals with the Great Plains Zoo’s ZooExpress, which will be stopping by the Amphitheater on First Fridays June through September! 11:00 - 11:45am Located at amphitheater on the Downtown Riverfront between 6th & 8th Street.

KSFY: Fridays on the Plaza - Each Friday this summer KSFY is inviting some of Sioux Falls' best musicians to perform during the lunch hour in the plaza outside the KSFY Studio at 325 S. 1st Avenue. They'll be entertaining crowds from 11:00 am - 1:00pm.

Sioux Falls Design Center & White Wall Sessions: The Sioux Falls Design Center is bringing PechaKucha Night to The White Wall Sessions and Post Pilgrim Gallery on Friday, June 2. Stop down at 6 pm and hear from 9 local innovators and creators as they deliver their message in the PechaKucha format. 2121 E 10th Street

South Dakota Writes: Summer local author book fair. There will be over 20 local authors signing books at this event! We will be located in the Federal Courthouse Plaza just east of Phillips Ave. South Dakota Writes is a non-profit organization that supports literary arts in South Dakota. Located in the Federal Courthouse Plaza at 12th Street and Phillips Avenue.

Sticks and Steel: Trunk Show: Larissa Loden Jewelry. Minneapolis jewelry designer, Larissa Loden is sharing her collection of vintage-modern jewelry thru Saturday. 401 E 8th Street, #118

Stockyards Ag Experience: Visit the Stockyards Ag Experience Barn for free First Friday admission from 5-8 pm. Check out the Stockyards history exhibit and interactive Farm to Table exhibit, which details how food makes its ways from the fam to the family table.
