During the Parade of Lights on Friday, November 27, 2015, from 5:45 p.m. until the end of the evening, Sioux Area Metro Bus Routes 1, 2, 3, 6, 8, 10, and 19 will load and unload on Dakota Avenue between 10th Street and 11th Street. Bus Routes 4, 5, 7, and 9 will use The Bus Stop at its normal location.

Beginning on Thursday, June 11, 2015, Phillips Avenue will be closed on the north side of 13th Street to allow construction crews to perform concrete repairs.Traffic on 13th Street will not be affected by this closure. Phillips Avenue traffic should use Dakota Avenue, Main Avenue, or First Avenue as alternate routes.

Public Parking will begin waterproofing applications at the 1st Ave Ramp at 110 E 11th Street on Friday June 5th, 2015 after 5:30p.m. We expect work to last one weekend. Work includes shock blasting, commercial sealer application, and re-stripping parking lines. The ramp will be closed while work is completed.
The events named have been permitted by the City of Sioux Falls Department of Health to possibly exceed normal sound limits for the duration listed.
Beginning on Monday morning, March 16, 2015, the sidewalks in the northeast corner of 11th Street and Minnesota Avenue will be closed. The work is expected to be completed by April 15, 2015.
