Downtown Sioux Falls is accepting Street Musician Applications for the Summer 2015 program.
Downtown Sioux Falls, Inc. (DTSF) is seeking a full-time Events Manager to lead the coordination event planning and promotions including: operations, logistics, budgets and promotional support. DTSF supports downtown events year-round and has been producing downtown signature events in excess of twenty years.

(DTSF) and several participating retailers celebrated the spirit of the 2014 holiday season with the Downtown Gives program, which is a collaborative effort of downtown business owners giving back to local charities. A check for just over $4,700 was presented yesterday to this year’s beneficiary, First Book - Sioux Falls.
Snow pickup operations in Zone 1 will begin at 1 a.m. on Wednesday, January 7, 2015. Vehicles parked in Zone 1 will be subject to ticketing and towing between the hours of 1 a.m. and 6 a.m. on Wednesday, January 7, 2015. During a snow alert, parking is prohibited in the downtown area between 1 a.m. and 6 a.m.

On Wednesday morning, December 31, 2014, Phillips Avenue will be closed between 12th Street and 13th Street.
Volunteers will host product drive for The Banquet as part of National Day of Service on Monday, January 19th.
Beginning Wednesday morning, December 24, 2014, South Phillips Avenue will be closed to through traffic between West 12th Street and West 13th Street.
On Monday morning, December 22, 2014, Phillips Avenue will be closed between 12th Street and 13th Street.
To assist the additional vehicle and foot traffic in the downtown area this time of year, the Public Works Street Division will begin snow pickup operations in Zone 1 between 1 a.m. and 6 a.m. on Wednesday, December 17, 2014. Vehicles will NOT be ticketed or towed, as no snow alert is being issued. However, if vehicle owners would remove their cars from the streets, more snow will be able to be cleared.
