Downtown Sioux Falls, Inc. (DTSF) in partnership with Avera Health and AARP South Dakota are excited to announce the launch of an official app – The DTSF Digital Passport on January 2, 2020 to coincide with the kick off of the 7th Annual Downtown Burger Battle. Digital Passport users will be able to experience Downtown Sioux Falls like never before by gamifying much of downtown’s offerings.
The first phase of the Digital Passport will serve as the ballot to vote in the 7th Annual Downtown Burger Battle. As participants cast votes, they earn points. Top point earners will be rewarded with prizes, like DTSF gift cards. Early adopters can sign up to receive an email when the app is able to download on January 2, 2020 at https://dtsf.com/digital-passport/.
“The next step in gamifying the downtown experience will include downtown’s cultural offerings by laying virtual scavenger hunts that incorporate audio, photography, text, and video to create a multi-faceted storytelling experience,” said DTSF President, Joe Batcheller.
The next phase of the app will roll out as Burger Battle concludes at the end of January 2020. More information will be released at later dates.
