31st Annual Parade of Lights - Downtown Sioux Falls

Join us for the 31st Annual Parade of Lights!

The Parade of Lights has become a family tradition, attracting thousands who have reveled in the coming joy of the season. We invite you to be part of the 31st year of this growing holiday tradition!

The parade begins at 7:30pm, as holiday floats with festive decorations and plenty of lights travel along Phillips Ave between 13th St and 5th St.

Join us at the Parade of Lights After Party & Awards Ceremony at the Holiday Inn Sioux Falls-City Centre in the Palisades Room immediately following the Parade of Lights at approximately 8:30pm. This free event is open to the public and will feature festive holiday lighting, live music by Elizabeth Hunstad from 8:30pm to 9:30pm, free cookies and cider, and a cash bar!

Submission of float applications has closed. Click here to be added to the mailing list to be notified when registration is open for next year.

DTSF will provide accessible or designated parking for people with special needs. Please call 605-338-4009 at least 48 hours prior to the event.

Below is a map of the parade route and associated street closures. Streets in the staging area will close at 5:15pm and Phillips Ave will close at 6:45pm for the parade.
