SUMMARY:Sevendust
DESCRIPTION:Sevendust has always carved their own path with a unique blend of heavy grooves\, unpredictable riffs\, and soulful vocals. Since forming in 1994\, they’ve sold over 7 million albums\, earned three gold certifications\, charted three Top 15 Billboard 200 debuts\, and received a GRAMMY® nomination. With a reputation for electrifying live performances\, they’ve played iconic festivals like Woodstock\, OZZfest\, Shiprocked\, and Sonic Temple. \nAfter their highly praised 2020 album Blood & Stone\, Sevendust returns with their fourteenth album\, Truth Killer\, their debut for Napalm Records. The band – Lajon Witherspoon (vocals)\, Clint Lowery (lead guitar)\, John Connolly (rhythm guitar)\, Vince Hornsby (bass)\, and Morgan Rose (drums) focused on reconnecting as friends during the writing process\, which led to fresh creativity. Recorded with producer Michael “Elvis” Baskette\, the album features a mix of heavy and melodic sounds\, as well as new electronic elements. \nThe album opens with “I Might Let The Devil Win\,” a slow-burning track that marks a departure from their usual sound\, while the closing song\, “Fence\,” brings the intensity Sevendust fans expect. Other standout tracks include “Truth Killer\,” which critiques society’s aversion to the truth\, and “Superficial Drug\,” a commentary on the emptiness of social media culture. With Truth Killer\, Sevendust proves they’re still taking risks and pushing boundaries\, reaffirming their place in rock history. \nDoors open at 7 PM for the 8 PM show. \nTickets are $50\, $55\, $65\, $75 plus tax and an online/phone ticketing fee (this fee is waived when tickets are purchased in the Gift Shop). Tickets in the ADA section are for patrons with mobility disabilities and up to three companions. If companion seating is not available because the ADA section is sold out\, GFC will offer other seats as close as possible to the accessible seat\, if available\, at the purchase price of the other section. Tickets can be purchased in the Gift Shop or online. \nThis ticket may only be purchased directly through our website or the box office located at our property. We do not use third-party resellers or brokers for ticket sales. Tickets purchased through third-party resellers or brokers are not valid for entry. We will not refund or exchange tickets purchased through third-party resellers or brokers. This ticket may not be resold\, transferred or used for commercial purposes (e.g.\, promotions\, contests\, advertising or giveaways)\, without our express\, written permission.

SUMMARY:Teachers As Artists Reception
DESCRIPTION:This exhibition highlights the creative practices of K–12 art educators from the Sioux Falls Public School District. While these individuals are best known as teachers\, this exhibition centers them as artists in their own right.\nArt education fosters critical thinking\, creative problem-solving\, and meaningful self-expression. These skills support academic learning\, emotional growth\, and civic engagement. Art teachers model these ways of thinking every day\, guiding students through processes of observation\, experimentation\, and revision. These educators are vital to the overall education of our students.\nYet the personal artistic work of educators is often unseen. By presenting their artwork in a museum setting\, this exhibition affirms that teaching art is inseparable from making art. For students and the broader community\, seeing teachers as practicing artists reinforces the value of arts education and demonstrates that creativity is a lifelong pursuit.
