South Dakota Pork Producers Council

Overview

The South Dakota Pork Producers Council (SDPPC) was formed in February, 1954 and was incorporated under the name of South Dakota Swine Improvement Association. In November 1967, the organization changed their Articles of Incorporation and called the new association the South Dakota Pork Producers Council. The SDPPC was incorporated for the purpose of giving the state direction to do all things possible to improve or increase the quality and production of the swine industry in South Dakota and throughout the U.S.
