The Heartland represents more than just a geographic location; it embodies the values, traditions and stories that shape the very soul of our region. This exhibition seeks to capture the essence of the Heartland — its landscapes, its people, its history and its future. Thirty artists were selected to help tell these stories. Through their work, many draw inspiration from vast prairies, bustling cities, quaint towns, agricultural abundance and the resilient spirit of the unique communities in this region.
