Hunting Wives Weekend 2025
October 17 - October 19
Hunting Wives Weekend will involve curated events by DTSF retailers for the significant other of a hunter during the inaugural pheasant opener weekend, allowing them to have fun and enjoy themselves while their partner is away. See details and locations below!
**Friday, October 17th: 2-4pm
On the Hunt : Eastbank Edition: Join us on the Eastbank (aka 8th & RR neighborhood) between 2 and 4pm on Friday 10/17. Enjoy the thrill of the “hunt” while you enjoy what our local businesses have to offer!
Participate in at least 5 activities to qualify for a chance to win our grand prize valued at over $500! Playing cards are available at each of the following participating businesses. In addition, enjoy the events happening within each store:
- Simply Perfect – Fall Decor Sale w/ wine and cheese nibbles
- Plum’s – Wine Tasting Workshop
- Sticks and Steel – Spin to win gift certificates
- The Cookie Jar – Drop in for “hands on” lefse making
- Juniper Apothecary – Hosting your own Simmer Pot blend for that Friday event. Fall scents will be on clearance!

**Saturday, October 18th:
- Great Outdoor Store: 7am to 3pm: Hot tub and cold plunge outside store + Pour-over Coffee demos with Samples!
- Fashion Show: 3pm at MK Threads (featuring Terra Shepherd Boutique, Lauriebelle’s and MK Threads)
**Sunday, October 19th:
- 605 Running blaze orange/camo group run at 7am; meet at 605 Running; end at The Breaks for coffee
