“The Great Burns” Book Launch

Celebrate the life and legacy of South Dakota legend Bob Burns at this event unveiling a new biography by Sioux Falls author Stu Whitney. “The Great Burns” tells the story of a man who parachuted behind enemy lines on D-Day, lured the Minnesota Vikings to South Dakota for their first-ever NFL game and, as a hard-driving football coach, lifted high school and college programs to unprecedented heights. Former players and coaches will be on hand to talk about Burns’ impact.
