April First Friday

It’s finally spring in downtown Sioux Falls. Enjoy a variety of April First Friday fun and support small businesses. From family activities, art receptions, live music, and food & drink specials, there’s something for everybody!

On this First Friday, we’ll be kicking off  Downtown Restaurant Week. Savor the flavors of downtown as you revel in the culinary talents of this year’s featured chefs and restaurants.

    We have teamed up with Sunny’s Pizzeria to bring you some tasty ‘za to pair with your books, beer and wine!
    Just order online from your table, and the Sunny’s crew will deliver your food right to your FCBC table.

  • Convolo First Friday Open House | April 1st | 5pm-7pm:
    Convolo is hosting their first open house on this coming First Friday! Grab a friend and pop by to see the space, mingle, and enjoy some beverages and bites from En Place. Located near Highball at 8th and Weber, downtown Sioux Falls. Hope to see you there!
  • April First Friday: Thompson, Jacobsen and Roghair | 6-8pm This April’s First Friday is featuring THREE artists: Judy Thompson, Jamie Jacobsen and Cristen Roghair! Join us for some multi-media fun with works in watercolor, oil and photography.
  • DakotAbilities First Friday Exhibition | Van Art Studio | 5-9pm: Join us for an exhibition of spin art work created by people supported at DakotAbilities in collaboration with artist Edward Eich. Freewill donations will benefit Meaningful Day programs at DakotAbilities.
  • First Friday Live Music with the Hegg Brothers | R Wine Bar | 6:30-9:30pm: Join us for First Friday in Downtown Sioux Falls with the best duo in the city, the Hegg Brothers!
  • Artist in Residence: Jessica Hammond | Vishnu Bunny | 7-9pm: Jessica’s art will be up all year with a First Friday opening April 1st during the “Le Nouveau (NOW)” show featuring Amy Kasten, Adam Lane, Rose Neuharth and Benjamin Sagmoe. Opening will feature DJ Big Papa, glizzys, beer with ID and love filled magic. Please save the date and continue to shop/look/listen local.
