African American Celebration SFCMCSupport the South Dakota African American History Museum!

Sioux Falls Chamber Music Collective (SFCMC) is holding a 2-hour online performance:

  • to raise funds for the South Dakota African American History Museum
  • to share the classical and Jazz music traditions by African American composers and musicians.

SFCMC continually works with artists from a variety of backgrounds and ethnicities. They would like to use their musical voice to support the African American community here in South Dakota. That is why they are very excited to invite you all to this livestream performance to celebrate African American culture through music, and to help raise funds for the South Dakota African American History Museum.

Program Description
They will be exploring both classical and Jazz music traditions through various wonderful and legendary African American composers and musicians. The string quartet will bring you different kinds of “classical” sound and music while the Jazz band will guide you through music that you must hear by Jazz legends!
