Overview

Eliza Blue is a shepherd, storyteller & folk-singer residing in western South Dakota. In her 15 years as a touring musician, she’s had the opportunity to collaborate with Billy Talbot of the band Crazy Horse, Charlie Parr, and Jami Lynn and has performed at SXSW, CMJ, and the Sioux River Folk Fest. Most recently, Blue has taken her music to the small screen with a Midwest Emmy nominated concert series called Wish you Were Here with Eliza Blue, currently in its second season on SDPB and Prairie Public. In addition to her musical endeavors, Blue writes a weekly column, Little Pasture on the Prairie, writes and produces audio “postcards” from her ranch, and just released her first book, Accidental Rancher. elizablue.net
