Breathe Bravely Backyard Bash

  • family

Overview

Breathe Bravely’s Backyard Bash began in 2014 in the founder Ashley Ballou-Bonnema’s small backyard. Rooted in gratitude and to lift up the voices for cystic fibrosis, the Backyard Bash brings people together to celebrate the act of breathing and the notion that it’s not the amount of breath that fills your lungs but what you do with it that gives you life.

The 2023 Breathe Bravely Backyard Bash will continue to honor and celebrate its community at the Levitt at the Falls in Downtown Sioux Falls. We’re excited to bring a lively and unique music festival to the lawn at the Levitt – one that is sure to inspire and empower.

The Levitt stage will be filled with unforgettable music by some of your local favorites like Midtown Coffee Radio Hour, and local artists Maren Engel, Betty Kay Merkle, and Ashley Ballou-Bonnema who will be sharing original music by acclaimed songwriter, Jennifer Lucy Cook. Elena Goodrow will be making her South Dakota debut as a singer/songwriter from Tiger, Georgia.

Food and beverage will be available for purchase at the event by JJ’s Wine, Spirits, & Cigars & Black Iron Waffles. This event is free to the public and is family friendly.
