Overview
Last year, A Night in Mexico I sold out nightly and brought delicious Mexican food and beverage to the table. Our first iteration took place almost exactly a year ago and Chef Carter knew he’d bring it back. Chef Carter Newcomb-Weiland spends time in Mexico yearly and has a serious passion for Mexican culture and cuisine. This is very much so a passion project for him.
Here is what you need to know.
- March 28th, March 29th, March 30th – the same coursed meal will be served nightly over this weekend in March.
- Dinner service will begin at 5:30pm nightly – reservations are required and payment for the meal will also be taken in advance
- There are THREE ways to purchase ticket(s) to reserve your place at a dinner table. They are as follows:
- You may purchase tickets on Eventbrite.
- You may call (605) 444-4266 to reserve a table and pay over the phone.
- You may stop into DaDa Gastropub at 402 N Main Avenue to purchase a physical ticket(s) for dinner.
- The ticket price INCLUDES dinner, SD taxes, and a 20% gratuity for service.
- The ticket price DOES NOT include drinks or dessert. If you desire to purchase drinks and/or dessert, separate payment will be taken on the night of your reservation.
- Seating is very limited nightly.
- Please notify us of any dietary needs, restrictions, or preferences.

First: hard shell taco | marinated mushrooms | sea asparagus | salsa | zucchini blossom
Second: enchiladas | mole | crema | pollo | queso fresco
Third: tamal | banana leaf | huitlacoche | chillies | queso
Fourth: corvina | verde | pepitas
For transparency and knowledge, the rough breakdown of cost is as follows: $65 for the four-course meal, $6.00 for state taxes, $13.00 for 20% gratuity.
