Overview
The world-renowned Lakota artist, children’s author and illustrator will read his book Muskrat and Skunk = Sinkpe na Maka: a Lakota Drum Story. Children will decorate their own 3-D horse.
Montileaux’s book Tatanka and Other Legends of the Lakota People was selected by the South Dakota Humanities Council as the 2019 One Book South Dakota. He has presented his art in galleries throughout the United States and enjoys helping children develop an appreciation of art and history through his workshops.
