The Monday after Daylight Saving Time ends provides a challenge for bicycle commuters. With it being dark before 5pm, it’s even more important to be visible during the evening rush.
People ride bikes to work for a wide variety of reasons. Often safety precautions, like lights, pale compared to just getting back and forth to a job.
FAB hopes to support their fellow riders by giving out blinking lights to all the bike commuters that don’t have them. Lights are being supplied by their friends at Nyberg’s Ace! Meet at 8th and RR at 4 pm Monday November 5th. Hopefully 150 lights are given away!
