Overview
On November 12, 2019, the United States Supreme Court Justices will hear oral arguments in three consolidated cases regarding President Trump’s action to terminate the DACA program. Recipients and a broad coalition of organizations nationwide are launching “HOME IS HERE” events in response to this crucial Supreme Court hearing.
Sioux Falls joins the cities throughout the country sponsoring events to pray for the Supreme Court Justices, stand in solidarity with DACA Dreamers, to spotlight just what’s at stake for 700,000 DACA recipients, their families, our communities, the economy and our country if the Supreme Court allows unlawful termination of DACA to proceed.
The event will be held under the ARC OF DREAMS, at the river below Cherapa Place. DACA Recipients will share their accomplishments and dreams for the future.
