Overview
The Arc of Dreams is a landmark sculpture created by South Dakota Artist Laureate, Dale Claude Lamphere. The sculpture is a tribute to the dreamers of the past and present, and an inspiration to the dreamers of the future.
The Arc is lighting up red and blue in celebration of the milestone anniversary of the Americans with Disabilities Act!
On July 26, 1990, this pivotal, civil rights legislation completely changed the way individuals with disabilities lived their lives, and accessed all parts of society. It opened doors, and paved the way for new and equal opportunities.
