On the First Friday of the month, June through September, DTSF treats you to the ultimate block party experience. These FREE events are located on the Eastbank of downtown Sioux Falls, which Thrillist recently named “1 of 12 up and coming neighborhoods across America.” Enjoy live music, food vendors, beer, wine, and shopping at some of the most unique stores along the boardwalk of the 8th & Railroad Center.
The Professional Bull Riders Unleash The Beast First PREMIER Bank PREMIER Bankcard Invitational will host the 5th Annual Mechanical Bull Media Challenge at the Downtown Block Party featuring local media personalities and influencers to ride against one another for their chance to secure the coveted PBR Belt Buckle! Don’t miss the action as the competition is as fierce as the PBR Bucking Bulls! New this year, you can show off your own bull riding skills after the 5th Annual Mechanical Bull Media Challenge. Thanks to the PBR, the mechanical bull will be open to the public to ride until 8:30pm.
Block party events provide a casual atmosphere that is family-friendly and fun for all ages. Picnic tables will be provided, but feel free to bring your own lawn chair. Kick back and enjoy the sounds of local and regional musicians. Make a day of it and enjoy more September First Friday deals!
