Join national food scene sensation Sean Sherman, the Oglala Lakota chef, founder of The Sioux Chef, current James Beard Award Nominee and author of the critically-acclaimed ‘The Sioux Chef’s Indigenous Kitchen’ for an intimate demonstration class.

Sean will provide an introduction to the modern indigenous cuisine of the Dakota and Minnesota territories, with a visionary and approach to food that travels well beyond those borders.

Originally from Pine Ridge, S.D., Sean is now based in Minneapolis. For the last 30 years he has been cooking across the U.S. and the world. Sean opened The Sioux Chef as a caterer and food educator in the Twin Cities area. He also helped open the Tatanka Food Truck, which features pre-contact food indigenous to the Upper Midwest.
