Time to finally pop the cork for Sioux Empire Pit Rescue’s 5th Annual Corks & Collars!
The gala normally takes place in the spring, but was postponed this year to August. Since everything is far from normal these days, think of it like Christmas in July! Except it’s pit bulls in August!!
The Hilton Garden Inn in downtown Sioux Falls hosts this year’s Corks & Collars. There’ll be live music, auctions items galore, plenty of delicious food and drink….plus guest appearances by some of SEPR’s own adora-bull, adopta-bulls!!
Note: Safety is the top priority, with event organizers going to great lengths to ensure the safety off all attendees.*
Sioux Empire Pit Rescue (SEPR) saves homeless pit bulls and pit mixes looking for forever families. It’s a labor-intensive and expensive undertaking that the SEPR family and its supporters have been committed to for 11 years. With no shelter of its own, SEPR relies on foster families and volunteers to support its work.
So, join the festivities at Corks & Collars!! Tickets are on sale now for $40 through August 27, and then will be $50 at the door on the night of the event.
*A statement from the event host: At this time, Hilton is actually rolling out their EventReady program, in conjunction with their CleanStay by Hilton with Lysol. The Hilton has been fortunate to host multiple events in a safe and clean manner with help and guidance from this program. Their corporate company, Hegg Companies, has also put together the “Keeping You Safe” campaign. All of these initiatives include masked employees, masks provided for all guests & patrons (not mandatory at this time), hand sanitizing stations located and available throughout the facility & event spaces, social distancing signage and assistance with planning your event, and frequent cleanings of high-volume touchpoints and public areas.
