Celebrate two extra special artists at Sticks and Steel this Friday for the DTSF Art & Wine Walk! Steve Bormes and Laura Jewell, local celebs and our former Rug & Relic neighbors, are sharing their original works with us!
Laura Jewell’s paintings have been described as “serene and enchanting like a quiet night when you can hear the nature grow.” Born in rural Kansas, Laura spent most of her time exploring the family’s eighty acres of farmland with a small creek and pond and such inspirations can be seen in her works today.
And any Downtown Sculpture Walk alum will be familiar with Steve Bormes’ work. Steve is an outsider artist from Sioux Falls, SD. His zany-yet-sophisticated work has been featured in homes and businesses across Sioux Falls and in galleries across America.
The fun starts at 5:00pm! Purchase punch cards or wines by the glass from any participating business.
