Overview

Join us for a unique and fun new activity. Learn basic loom weaving while making it uniquely yours by adding in nature elements like twigs, bark, dried grasses, feathers, and rocks. You will go home with a small one-of-a-kind wall hanging

You will be working with a cardboard loom, yarns, strings, fabric, and dried nature elements.
Students are welcome to bring the following supplies to use or share:

  • 8” or longer stick to hand weave
  • interesting yarn
  • trims, or strings
  • strips of fabric
  • feathers
  • dried flowers or plants
  • interesting sticks or twigs
  • interesting flat rocks

I’ll guide you step by step to create your own weaving. This class is suitable for all ages, although children under 8 might have a more difficult time with the steps. Children must be accompanied by a paid adult.

Supplies included:

  • Your own cardboard loom
  • All supplies to embelish your weaving (yarn, string, fabric, nature elements)

Cost is $40 per person, per class.
